UNO Contract furnishes the hotel You.Me Design Place

The company works with architect Simone Micheli on a new hotel in Trieste

Renovation of the hotel to the design of architect Simone Micheli has involved the entire structure and UNO Contract has supplied the furniture for the rooms, suites and common areas.

You.Me Design Place, whose name recalls the symbiosis that occurs between guests and the place that accommodates them, is a four-star hotel in the historic centre of Trieste, with different categories of rooms – deluxe, junior suite e suite deluxe – to meet all its guests’ diverse needs.

The style of this hotel created by Micheli is linked to, in his own words, “a story connected to the new idea of luxury, which is not opulence and redundant geometries, but simplicity, essentiality and wonder. Colours like white and pearl grey become physical material to be modelled. The outstanding, refined surfaces, mirrors that reflect the multiplicity of our sense of existence, images that merge past, present and future, become tangible signs containing univocal messages that with vibrating lighting connote the common areas and vigorously alter space, also in the rooms.”

In this project UNO Contract has provided customised furniture to the architect’s drawings: on the ground floor, the reception desk with portal and shaped mirror prepped for installing a TV set, decorative panels for the lobby, furniture and display cabinets for the bar, decorative panels and storage units for the breakfast room. The futuristically shaped surfaces are in white laminate. The company has also supplied all the furniture for the rooms and suites.

The complete supply took place through operating lease, a way that allows the property to completely renew the furniture without a major investment in a single solution, but delaying payments over time, paying a monthly fee between 24 and 60 months. The solution was suggested by UNO Contract to the property of the hotel and welcomed with great interest.

You.Me Design Place Hotel is a further collaboration of the Venetian company with the big names of architecture and international decor, such as Zaha Hadid and Piero Lissoni, to mention just two, in implementing projects for hotels, residences, restaurants and cruise ships. Projects to which UNO Contract brings 35 years of expertise, and for which special attention to the quality of the materials used and details ensure efficient, cutting-edge supplies.
